About Lisa Pope |
I began teaching mathematics while earning a master's degree at Indiana State University, and I was hired to teach full-time at ISU upon graduation. After moving back to my home state of Minnesota, I spent many years teaching math part-time at North Hennepin Community College while raising a family. I have worked in a variety of teaching and tutoring situations and with a variety of ages, from non-traditional college students (older adults) enrolled in my college courses, to high school Upward Bound and PSEO students, to elementary school children. Currently, I continue to teach a few courses each year at North Hennepin while also offering private tutoring. Using my own materials in conjunction with the best texts on the market, I have helped thousands of students prepare for, and succeed in their high school and college math courses.
